簡歷：       

Dr. Hsu is a United States patent agent registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He is currently serving as Visiting Expert at Academia Sinica, where he facilitates in the strengthening of Academia Sinica’s intellectual property protection and enhancing the quality of US patent application prosecution. He also serves as advisor/consultant to Taiwan SPARK, as well as various law firms and biotechnology companies.

Prior to joining Academia Sinica, Dr. Hsu served as a United States patent examiner in the biotechnology division at the USPTO. His areas of expertise include chemical compositions, gene therapies, stem cells, transgenic animals and viral vectors. Prior to joining the USPTO, Dr. Hsu conducted his postdoctoral research in developmental biology at the National Institute of Dental and Cranio-facial Research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He has published his findings in top research journals including Science.

(五)、演講前二天(8/13)本會將寄發演講連結與登入說明至報名者的email信箱，屆時請務必注意email信件。

(六)、本專題演講最後報到時間為20:00，如未於預定時間內報到視同未出席。

(七)、會員參加本活動可依據「專利師及專利代理人在職進修辦法」與「會員在職進修獎勵辦法」採計3小時。

(八)、本會於活動結束後一個月內依據「專利師及專利代理人在職進修辦法」登檔造冊3小時予經濟部智慧財產局，惠請出席之專利師及專利代理人於活動結束的一個月至經濟部智慧財產局E網通入口網站登入查詢。
